”As the president of the Local Action Group North-East – Țara Maramuresului Association, I believe that through collaboration and involvement, we can support the development of communities in the north-eastern part of Maramures county, especially in the Ruscova, Vișeu, and Iza valleys.
The Integrated Local Development Strategy is our guide to promoting sustainable and inclusive growth, taking into account priorities focused on youth, farmers, and environmental protection. We also aim to support partnerships that contribute to local development and broader cooperation, both nationally and internationally.

The mission of the Local Action Group Tara Maramuresului is to support the sustainable development of the region by facilitating access to European funds and essential resources for economic, social, and cultural progress. We focus on developing sustainable tourism, promoting organic agriculture, and preserving the traditional crafts of the area. Our mission includes protecting the cultural heritage and the environment by encouraging local innovation and collaborating with regional stakeholders for a prosperous and sustainable community.
