Training Course Successfully Completed!
On Friday, June 13, 2025, the GAL Nord Est – Țara Maramureșului team, together with Multinet, organized a territorial animation meeting in Ruscova, where they discussed the implementation stages of the Local Development Strategy and the calendar of upcoming calls for proposals.
🧩 The event was followed by an internal training course, dedicated to GAL staff and attending partners, with a practical focus on LEADER project management and the active involvement of local communities.
📍 These activities are part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the team and facilitate the exchange of best practices among local leaders, which are essential for the effective implementation of the strategy in the territory.

Training course for LAG partners
On Friday, June 13, 2025, immediately after the territorial animation meeting in Ruscova commune, a training course will be held, dedicated to the partners and staff of LAG Nord-Est Țara Maramureșului.
This activity is part of the internal training and support program for the effective implementation of the Local Development Strategy and includes:
Training of LAG employees,
Support for partners,
Identification of best practices and exchange of experiences among local leaders.

Second meeting of the working team of the Local Action Group Association of the North-East Tara Maramuresului Region
On November 7, 2024, a working meeting took place in the locality of Leordina with members of the Local Action Group Association North-East Tara Maramuresului Region, as well as with representatives from several administrative-territorial units: Poienile de sub Munte, Viseu de Sus, Viseu de Jos, Ruscova, Bogdan Voda.
The director of the Maramures Mountains Natural Park, Mr. Horia Grosu, was also present at the meeting.
The main topic of discussion was the measures of the Local Action Group Association North-East Tara Maramuresului Region included in the LDS Financing Plan:
M1_ZDMI: Supporting local development through the creation of Smart Mountain Development Zones
M2_PatriMONT: Promotion and preservation of local tangible and intangible heritage
M3_StartUP30: Creation of companies and new non-agricultural jobs for women and young people (18-30 years old)
M4_StartUP_PGLM: Creation of local gastronomic points with sale of certified food products
M5_EdUMBRELA: Training/education/support activities in priority areas of the territory
M6_OrgMONT: Cooperation for the development of local markets, short supply chains, and quality schemes
M7_TransMONT: Inter-territorial and transnational cooperation
M8_Canis: Environmental protection from invasive species/breeds / Operations related to canine stray control
M10_FSE+ABC Children of the Mountain.
The development opportunities of the area were at the center of attention for all those present at the meeting, and assurances were made that they will be capitalized on through projects of the Local Action Group Association North-East Tara Maramuresului Region.

Second meeting of the working team of the Local Action Group Association of the North-East Tara Maramuresului Region
On October 30, 2024, under the aegis of the Managing Authority for the Strategic Plan and in accordance with Government Decision no. 1570/2022 regarding the implementation of specific rural development interventions included in the PAC Strategic Plan 2023-2027, the first meeting in a series of discussions dedicated to the implementation of the local development strategy took place.
The event brought together representatives from the 11 administrative-territorial units (ATUs) members of the Local Action Group Association North-East Tara Maramuresului Region, with the objective of implementing initiatives for sustainable rural development in the region.
The working meeting took place at the headquarters of the Local Action Group Association North-East Tara Maramuresului Region in Leordina, Maramureș County, with the participation of Mr. Vasile Popovici, manager of the LAG North-East Tara Maramuresului, Ms. Monica Dinu, LAG assistant manager, Ms. Maria Papariga, LAG communication officer, Mr. Ioan Tăut, European funds specialist at Leordina Town Hall, and Mr. Vasile Dzitac, territorial animation officer of the LAG North-East Tara Maramuresului.
We welcome the presence at the meeting and the initiative to collaborate with the LAG North-East Tara Maramuresului of Mr. Horia Grosu, Director of the Maramureș Mountains Natural Park.
